Google ceases AdSense Referral in Germany
Posted by coldtobi | 24 Jan, 2008, 14:18NOTEAt the end of January, we will no longer support referrals to the AdSense product in Germany. If you are displaying referral units directing visitors to use AdSense, you will need to update your pages. Learn more..
Anyway, I was already thinking about to completly stop serving ads for google. My blog has just a too small niche to "make money" with or even the hosting costs, as well on the other sides serving ads makes this blog "commercial" (no, you won't have to make profit to qualify). Which is actually bad because you have to concern about a lots more of laws in Germany. Anyway, this is a hobby blog, and adsense was an experiement which appearantly failed.
PS: Google actually ceases worldwide except America and Japan. (See here, plus a nice video some of how the publishers might think. )
