Today one mail slipped through spamassassin. However, my experienced eye immediatly discovered that the mail is -- again -- some silly phishing attempt....
Sometimes, I *really* think how stupid the spammers/phishers are. First, this is not my name (a simple parsing of the email address would usually give better results), then the date of the reception, the missing umlauts, etc... There is nothing right in this spam.
Date received:
" I transfered the money on July 4th. Where's my merchandize?"

Bug in Lifetype
Posted by coldtobi | 4 Jul, 2007, 19:39I do not know yet, if it is because of my configuration, and I currently unable to file a bug report, but I' gonna to investigate this a little more.
If the settingsin Administation -> Global Settings -> URL are set to "Mod Rewrite", the "next-Links" and page-number links at the bottom of the main pages stop working. If clicking on them, you alway get on the first page.
On any other settings, this is working loke a charm, so I am using "Custom URLs" now, with default settings.

Feedburner PRO services now free

Yesterday I subscribed to Feedburner. And today, they have something new! I was really delighted to learn, that two PRO Services are now free. And you get a nifty "PRO" logo for free, as you see on the left.

Sharoogle vs Google

Because of that, I decided to give that service a try and installed it last week on this blog. Top of it, one can earn some cents, if an visitor finds an sponsored link more temptating than the regular search results.

Integrating Feedburner's Blog Stats into Lifetype.

To give them them a try,I had to integrate the stats into my current template set. Its easier as I first thought.

The bayesian filter rocks. Really.
Up to date, there where no false positive, and allmost all spam has been successfullly marked as.
But as deleting all the spam taking more and more time, and as I do not want to turn off comments in my blog I made the following decission:
Effective immediatly, comments flagged by my anti-spam-filters are deleted automatically.
