ScribeFire Inserts Zemanta Web Bug

I'm using the firefox extension "ScribeFire" for Firefox. It is a convenient blogging editor allowing me to prepare articles also when offline. But currently I'm a little pissed. 

By coincident, I checked the generated html source and found that the plugin inserts the  following "web bug" in each and every post:

Vote For Earth and Dim the lights tonight

Global Warming, Climate Change and Preserving Energy are for sure one of most important topics for our and next generations.

At least if we care for the place we live in.

To underline the importance, the WWF announced a Earth Hour today: At 8:30 pm, turn off all lights that are not ultimatly needed for just one to express that you care.

Controlling Thecus's fan

Some time ago, I wrote a C-program for controlling the Fan inside the Thecus N2100.
The reason for this is, that the current solutions found on the web are not suitable for me. As an example, it keeps the hard-drives awake.

As this program might be interested for other Thecus users too, I decided to release it to the public.
