IE Clipboard Reveals Informations

Another reason why I don't like the Internex Explorer: Security.
Just copy some random text int your clipboard and then click on this site (Sorry, German only).
If you are doing that with IE, you'll get a very nice verbatim copy of that you just have entered.
And, no, this is not recently detected: This problem exists since version 5.0 (January 2002!) and is still not adequatly addressed. (Described here).
The solution for this problem would be simple. One alternative would be to set default security zone settings to restrict clipboard access by default.

Well, since the bug was already filed in 2002, I don't expect that this will ever be fixed.

For a solution to work around, see this article: Adjust the right to access the clipboard for the Internet Zone. This wil not eliminate the problem, but you will be asked prior the clipboard is accessed.
