Getting the (source-forge) git repository of fanctrl

Posted by coldtobi | 6 Mar, 2009, 06:04

To get a git-based source-forge project like fanctrl do:

mkdir fanctrl
cd fantctrl
git init
git pull git://fanctrl.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/fanctrl/fanctrl

(For other source-forge projects, replace "fanctrl" with the other projects name.)

Update (Aug 30, 2009): SF changed their git project layout, so the old URL won't work anymore. Updated article with the new URL.
